Background
Initially specialising in Mortgages, as the market began to take a turn for the worst in early 2009, our customers interest in protecting their families, mortgages, homes and businesses began to grow. Active Brokers saw the gap that still exists in the UKs protection market and understand the reasons why customers can be wary of insurance. Let’s be honest it can be quite daunting or difficult to understand and making sure you choose the right product for your circumstances can be a bit of minefield.
DIY or Active Brokers
With the internet it has brought in a selection of DIY Price Comparison websites, these sites do not appeal to everyone and we understand that. Active Brokers believe in speaking to people directly not the DIY service route, which means you take on the sole responsibility for some of the most important products you will ever arrange.

When it comes to arranging insurance, with our Insurer product knowledge we will answer any questions you have so you can choose the best cover for you, not just the cheapest, for example:
If you have medical condition which could affect your monthly premium it’s not a problem 9 times out of 10 we will find you an insurer. Prior to making an application we will approach a range of leading insurers to find out how they view the condition i.e. will they increase your monthly cost, postpone the application or outright decline. We can then discuss these insurers with you and the options available as well as any potential price increases, if you're happy we will submit an application to the one who will offer the lowest price & best cover after the application taking into account your medical condition.
NO other broker does the hard work especially before an application is submitted.
